E500 - Automatic transport Ventilator

SIMPLICITY

The ventilation solutions offered by the e500 cannot be compared to any other products of this type. The units are independent and require only connection to a regulated oxygen supply and transport ventilation circuit to use. The easily replaceable and long-lasting battery (18 to 24 hours) can be charged inside the ventilator or can be removed for charging and replaced quickly with a new battery. The screen illumination has adjustable brightness to facilitate viewing the fan settings in any ambient light condition. Designed for a variety of patient sizes (from large adults to babies), the e500 comes in a small, lightweight package.

SAFETY

Continuous monitoring of ventilation parameters ensures that the device is always fully functional and ready for immediate use. The wide range of both visual and audible alarms provide alerts to the healthcare professional of any changes in the patient or device parameters. The correction of any alarm is easy to obtain due to the compact and easy to operate control layout. The Intuitive Patient Apena Backup (IPAB) mode provides additional security for the patient who spontaneously breathes on the CPAP, automatically starting ventilations should cease their inspiratory efforts.

FUNCTIONALITY

There are not several screens to go through to establish patient ventilation parameters. The units have an initial, predefined configuration, initialization mode that requires only selecting the patient size to start ventilation.
