For exudative surface wounds, abrasions, lacerations, deep wounds, burns, scalds, acid burns, for covering donor and recipient areas of grafted skin and in cosmetic and plastic surgery.

The thick layer of ointment does not come off even in cases of heavily exuding wounds.
